Business is a huge field that includes several careers. Some of the most common ones include financial analysts, administrative service managers, and stock brokers. Salaries can vary among these individual professions, but the typical median wages are as follows:

  • Administrative service managers: $73,000 per year
  • Financial analysts: $41.65 per hour, or $86,632 per year
  • Stock brokers: $68,000 to $122,000 per year

2. Electrical Engineering

Electrical engineers are responsible for designing and developing electrical equipment. They also oversee the manufacture of it, as well as the testing of new equipment. This can include electric motors, lighting and wiring in buildings and communications systems. Electrical engineering is a highly lucrative field, allowing employees to earn as much as $96,000 with ten to twenty years' experience.

3. Healthcare

Healthcare provides several options for people who have obtained graduate degrees, and healthcare administration is one of the most popular areas of this field. This area allows you to use business concepts and work in a healthcare setting, which is the best of both worlds. It is also a good choice if you are interested in healthcare but do not want to have patient interaction. In healthcare administration, you can earn a median wage of about $80,000 a year.

4. Computer Science

Computer scientists are responsible for creating and designing new technology. Their creations and research can be combined to enhance computers and make them work faster and more efficiently. They can do research in an array of fields, including virtual reality and robotics, which are two of the most popular fields. Computer scientists usually work in offices or laboratories. This career has a very rewarding earning potential, as well. With zero to five years' experience, you can expect a salary of around $54,000. After ten to twenty years, you can earn as much as $94,000.

5. Physician's Assistant

Physician's assistants practice medicine and are always under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. They are qualified to prescribe medicine to patients and order laboratory tests. A physician's assistant can also treat minor injuries. Salaries are variable with this career and could depend on the facility where you work or the location where you live. The median salary for this profession is about $81,000, but it can also be as high as $129,000. If you want a well-paying health career that will allow you to work with patients, a career as a physician's assistant might be one to consider.
