Doctor of Education Program

To be accepted into this prestigious program, you must maintain a 3.5 grade point average and high test scores. 63 credit hours will be completed by taking core courses like Advanced Foundations of Educational Leadership; Organizational, Operational, and Resource Leadership; Research and Data-Based Decision Making; and Leadership for the School and the Diverse Community.

Master's of Education Program

For acceptance into this master's degree program, qualified students must maintain a 3.0 grade point average. You will also need to have relevant experience in the field and your undergraduate degree. Core courses include Trends in Educational Leadership, Principalship, Arizona Education Law, Personnel Administration in Education and Supervision of the Instructional Program.

Arizona State University's Graduate Education Programs

PhD in Early Childhood Education

Master's in Elementary Education

This concentration is ideal for students who have completed their bachelor's degree and wish to obtain certification for teaching in Arizona schools while earning their graduate degree at the same time. The program is comprised of 33 credit hours and an applied project.

Master's in Secondary Education (Teacher Certification)

This is a specially-designed program that allows students to earn their teaching certificate and their master's degree simultaneously. Graduates will have what they need to teach grades 7 through 12. The program is comprised of 33 credit hours and an applied project.
