Master of Science in Early Childhood Education

Arkansas Tech University's Graduate Education Programs

Tech has offered quality education to students for more than 25 years. Earning a Master of Education degree is one of six graduate degree programs offered by the university.

Master of Education in Elementary Education

For teachers who wish to broaden their knowledge of teaching, this is the perfect program. Core requirements include Educational Research, Current Issues in Human Learning, Principles of Curriculum Development, and a project in Educational Research.

Master's of Education in Educational Leadership

To help prepare candidates for licensure as a principal or assistant principal, this program teaches students core courses like Administrative Law, School Organization and Leadership, and Working with the Marginal Performer.

Master's of Education in Instructional Improvement

This kind of degree is for the purpose of having teachers learn more about the three areas teachers have identified as constituting the biggest instructional problems today. These are inclusion, students with limited English proficiency, and reading. Therefore core classes include Teaching the Exceptional Child, Second Language Acquisition, and Teaching Reading and Study Strategies in the Content Area.
