University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions:

This is the top center for health education, training, and health science in the state of Arkansas. The college offers a number of diverse areas of expertise, study, and research for students who are interested in health science, education, and policy. The college employs a number of experienced professionals who guide students through their degree programs and help them to start their careers by making the best decisions. Students in this program are given access to valuable internship and clinical research experiences, as well as to the newest technology and research software.

Master of Science in Health Science:

This is a graduate program for qualified students who are interested in the field of health promotion and education at school levels and at broader government and social organization levels. Students begin this program by declaring individual areas of study and expertise. Students then participate in a core education that covers key issues in the field. Students participate in internship and clinical research experiences. Students then work closely with faculty members to conduct independent research projects and complete independent projects and/or master's thesis papers. Students who complete this program successfully teach health at a number of different levels, such as public high school. They also become administrators and advisors. Students who complete this program may also apply to PhD degree programs.

PhD in Health Science:
This is an advanced graduate program for students who have already complete master degrees in health science. Students must already have individual areas of research and study. Students begin the program by learning about more advanced methods and concepts in the world of health science and public health policy. Students engage in hours of clinical research. Students work closely with faculty advisors who guide them toward satisfactory completion of their PhD dissertations, which must be defended before an academic panel. Students who complete this program continue research and teach at the university level. Others take high-level government and administrative positions in a number of different organizations and agencies.

Arkansas State University College of Nursing and Health Professions:

This college is known for its emphasis on practical application of ideas learned in the classroom. Students in this college are given a top-notch classroom education, as well as ample opportunity to take that knowledge into the field for pre-profession experience. Students also have access to an experienced, talented faculty. The college offers a number of different undergraduate, master, and PhD degree programs.

Master of Science in Health Science:

This program is for qualified students who would like to learn about health policy, education, administration, and promotion. Students choose individual areas of concentration and begin the program with core classes that teach a comprehensive overview of key concepts and theories. Students continue independent study.
