Colorado Graduate Teaching Schools with Master's & PhD Degree Programs

University of Colorado - Boulder School of Education

UC at Boulder is listed in the top 50 schools in US News and World Report's best graduate education program. The UC College of Education offers degrees at the master and doctoral levels, as well as the highly competitive MA Plus program.

Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction Plus Licensure

The MA Plus program is for students who have an undergraduate degree and want to get their master's degree and teacher's license. Students in the program work toward licensing in one of four areas: Secondary English, Secondary Math, Secondary Science, or Secondary Social Studies. It is not necessary that the undergraduate degree be in one of these areas, but to meet the requirements of the state for licensure, students may have to take extra classes.
