Doctor of Nursing Practice:

This program is for students who have already earned master degrees in nursing and would like to further their understanding and research skills. Students declare individual areas of concentration then take courses in advanced methods, ideas, and theories that were first explored in the master program. Students also work closely with faculty advisors to successfully complete their PhD dissertations, which must be defended before academic panels. Students who complete this program become university researchers and teachers. They also hold high-level administrative positions in the health profession.
