Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering

The Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program at Georgia Institute of Technology is through the Woodruff School. The program of advanced research and study is a challenge for those that have a background in engineering, mechanics, mathematics, physical sciences, and life sciences. The program is quite flexible with classes being offered at Georgia Tech-Lorraine, Georgia Tech Savannah, by video, through online courses, or by attending classes at the campus in Atlanta.

Master of Science in Bioengineering

The Master of Science in Bioengineering program combines advanced courses in engineering specialties, life sciences, and bioengineering are combined with biomedical research. This program is offered by the College of Engineering. Each student will select a homeschool from the College of Engineering either Aerospace Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and/or Polymer, Textile and Fiber Engineering. This program is only for hig-quality students with engineering or non-engineering backgrounds in fields such as computer science, physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics. Physicians with undergraduate degrees in engineering are also candidates for this program.
