Rutgers – New Brunswick’s Graduate Psychology Programs

As the state university of New Jersey, Rutgers serves almost fifty thousand students on all of its combined campuses. Ph.D in Clinical Psychology

Those students who have already achieved their bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field and are admitted as doctoral candidates in the Clinical Psychology program may typically receive five years of full funding. The program is also fully accredited by the American Psychological Association. Program graduates will leave Rutgers with the ability to make a direct contribution to the base of scientific knowledge as it pertains to clinical psychology; the competence to be a competitive candidate for employment in clinical practice; a solid knowledge of both the theoretical science and practice of clinical psychology that will allow them to become leaders in their industry.

Ph.D in Social Psychology

The doctoral program in Social Psychology at Rutgers boasts some of the world’s leading academics and professors in the field, including two American Psychological Association Early Career Award recipients. This program is recommended for those who wish to focus their independent research in the areas of Self, Interpersonal, and Intergroup Processes and Health Psychology.
