Doctor of Public Health:
This is a competitive and high advanced graduate degree for students who already have strong academic backgrounds in the health field. Students master advanced research methods and participate in a number of group discussions and learning groups. Students may attend professional seminars and meetings. Dissertations are presented and defended before academic panels. Students who finish this program may continue research and teach at the university level. Students may also hold any number of high-level administrative and government positions. They research, write, and influence public health policy at the national and international level.
