Master of Public Policy, Health Policy Concentration
For graduates who wish to pursue careers in healthcare policy analysis, the Master of Public Policy degree program with a concentration in health policy is an idea blend of public policy and healthcare studies. Core curriculum includes the study of experiment design and analysis, public program evaluation and finance management, economics of public policy, as well as cost benefit analysis. Graduates must complete core coursework as well as an internship.
PhD in Public Administration, Health Policy Concentration
Research in the health services industry is the primary focus of a PhD in Public Administration Health Policy concentration. Students learn to examine costs, accessibility, delivery systems, organizational policies, and outcomes in order to improve public policy as it relates to healthcare systems domestically as well as internationally. Graduate students study such core curriculum as fiscal policy, policy formulation and implementation, policy analysis, and theory of public organizations.
