Master of Health Policy
This degree program provides graduate students with a well-rounded view of healthcare from the standpoint of each stakeholder, recipients, providers, regulators, and those who finance healthcare such as insurance companies, government, and public health organizations. Students learn through case studies and analytical skills developed through core curriculum. Courses cover four distinct areas including health policy administration, policy planning, financials, and delivery of care.
PhD Health Services Research
Graduates who qualify for admission to the PhD program in health services research may choose between two specialties – Health Outcomes and Quality or Health Economics. Both specialties prepare the student for a career in academic or research pursuits relative to administration and management in the healthcare industry. These graduates go on to pursue positions in governmental, academic, or private sector organizations whose focus is research to improve healthcare administration.

Simmons College Graduate Degree Programs in Healthcare
Located in Boston’s Longwood Medical area, Simmons College encourages a small student to faculty ratio with an emphasis on service-based learning. Students at Simmons College go on to complete clinical practicums in many of the nation’s top facilities.
Master of Health Administration
This degree program is designed for in-service professionals and as such, provides a greater level of customization in terms of class scheduling through evening classes or online.
