Masters Degree Rankings

The US News and World Report rating for universities in the country includes a category for "national universities" that is designated for schools with graduate programs reaching to the doctorate level. Our list of master's level graduate schools is drawn from those rankings, with some adjustments made to include schools with a wide spectrum of graduate degree options that reach beyond a particular specialty such as technology or the sciences.
