Masters in Fine Arts

Most students working to obtain their Masters of Fine Arts follow a course geared towards their area of specialization. The area of fine arts covers a wide variety of subjects including writing, graphic designs, sculpture, painting, glass, integrated arts, printmaking, and music. While some students will take courses in art history, most will pursue classes that advance their knowledge of techniques and subjects especially for their specialization. Many people that end up getting these degrees start producing works independently. Some pursue teaching opportunities as well. In a few cases, some students go on to get PhD level degree.

Many people dream of being able to get an advanced degree yet their busy lives prevent them from taking Mister large step. They are under the assumption that they would have to attend classes on campus. The people that have professional and personal lives, this can be difficult. Those that obtain this graduate degree can select from a variety of job options once they graduate. Many choose to enter the world of teaching at a high school or college level. For those that decide to become a teacher at the high school level, salaries can range anywhere from $25,000 a year upward depending on specialization and location. Those that enter the field of museum work can make $35,000 or more per year.
