Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology

For students interested in obtaining a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, classes include group behavior theory, organizational theory, human machine and human computer interaction, motivation dynamics, organizational influences on behavior, job testing, and reward punishment structures. Many people that graduate with this degree go on to work in institutional settings as well as private companies. Students learn how to apply theoretical ideas to real world organizations. When they enter the workforce, they often take theory to corporations, prisons, institutions, and other large group settings.

Many students that go on to pursue industrial and organizational psychology degrees often do it later in life. Experience and further education can raise a salary significantly. For those that work in private corporations, bonuses and profit sharing can lead to higher salaries as well.
