Masters in Psychology School Rankings

Masters in Psychology School Rankings

Identifying the best graduate programs in psychology is usually a task of sorting through the US News & World Report survey of U.S. universities and graduate schools that is published annually. However many of the psychology departments at the top universities do not offer the master's degree as a terminal degree, remaining focused on the PhD is the sole postgraduate option in the field. So our collection of top schools is drawn from the US News analysis of the best psychology programs, tempered by the requirement that the programs on our list must have a viable Master of Psychology program for students who wish to pursue an education in psychology at that level. The result is a list of top tier universities that have grown with the times and chosen to offer a Master's in Psychology for people who are seeking a profession other than collegiate teaching and research.

  1. University of Southern California offers two master's programs in the Department of Psychology.
