The Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota was originally founded in 1919. From its inception the school worked closely with the business community in helping to train students and providing employment opportunities. The school has nearly 5,000 students and 106 tenure-track and 28 full-time members of the faculty.
Master in Business Administration
The curriculum at the Carlson School of Management is tailored made to suit a student's career goals. Each student must complete classes that will give them a solid foundation in business and management principles. In addition to the core classes, there are a wide variety of electives that also provide hands-on learning experiences. They offer a variety of MBA programs such as full-time, part-time, and executive programs to accommodate the needs of their students.
Ph.D - Business Administration
The Ph.D program that the Carlson School of Management offers is a wonderful learning experience for a student that allows them to concentrate on one area of study. Students will be working with skilled instructors and students from all over the world, and this provides for a great mix of technology resources and research opportunities.

Master of Business Administration
The MBA program at Minnesota State University is designed for working professionals. Classes are one evening per week for eight weeks to make it easier for a working adult to fit the work into their normal work week. The program is affordable but it is also very highly respected, it has consistently placed at the top of the Princeton Review of best business schools.
Master of Public Administration
Minnesota State University also has a MPA program that students may enroll in. This program will help to prepare students for careers as managers in government, nonprofit organizations and other firms. Students will have a positive impact on society by learning strong leadership skills.
