Montana State University-Bozeman Masters in Nursing Programs

Located about an hour outside of Kansas City, the University of Central Missouri serves a student body of over 11,000 active students. The College of Health and Human Services offers Nursing programs at the Bachelors and Masters level. The College offers many classes in other University locations such as Billings, Great Falls, and Missoula.

Masters of Science Nursing, Clinical Nurse Leader Qualified students can pursue an MSN with a focus on becoming a clinical nurse leader. Those that graduate can enter general practice and work towards nursing administration. Students take classes in care environment management, clinical outcome management, clinical leadership, and advanced health assessment.

Masters of Science Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Those students that qualify can work towards their MSN as a family nurse practitioner. Most graduates go on to work in a variety of medical practices dealing with families at all stages of life. Students take classes in rural health nursing, concepts of family care, population based health, and therapies for infants, adults, and elders.

Masters of Science Nursing, Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Students with an interest in mental health and psychiatric health can work on an MSN with a focus on becoming a family psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner. Students in this degree program often go on to work in the mental health field. They take courses in family mental health, concepts of family care, psychopharmacotherapeutics, and rural health nursing.
