MPH Degree Programs Online

The public health industry, if we can call it that, has become a healthcare services sector of its own. Public health began as an educational service, with the addition of clinical services provided for low income individuals. Today it is an essential component of healthcare in the United States, where health insurance continues to become an expensive and for many, unaffordable option. Along with actual healthcare services, public education on health issues continues to be of paramount importance. Managing the public agencies and nonprofit organizations that provide these services is one aspect of a public health career; the other enormous challenges facing Masters in Public Healthgraduates are the policy and planning issues around the future of public health.
