Students take courses in psychology, current methods and theories, and analyzing data. Students learn to read and interpret statistics, clinical research data, and empirical data. Students also learn methods of practical application. Students participate in clinical research studies of their own and also gain access to internship experience. Students consult faculty members to complete research projects and finish their master's thesis papers. Students who complete this program become counselors in schools and other community organizations and agencies. Students may also choose to pursue PhD degrees.

This is one of the most well regarded colleges of its kind in the country. This school is known for its mix of high-level classroom education with practical application opportunities.
