The Graduate School at the University of New Hampshire is located in Durham, New Hampshire. The school is dedicated to maximizing the talent, creativity, experience and hard work. Master of Science in Family Studies
This degree program allows students to gain knowledge and understanding of theories and methods related to child and family studies. It will also prepare them to with families and children in therapeutic, community, corporate and educational settings. Students can specialize in Adolescent and Child Development and Child Advocacy and Family Policy. Students have the option to pursue a thesis or non thesis option.
Master of Science in Nursing
Those wish to pursue this degree program have two programs to choose from. The program offers three tracks. They can become evidence based nursed, family nurse practitioners or clinical nurse leaders. Although each track requires students to take different courses, they will prepare all students to become successful leaders and professionals within in the healthcare system.
Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences
Students can pursue a thesis and non thesis track. Students who pursue the thesis track will take courses in addition to creating and defending a thesis. Those who pursue a non thesis track will take coursework only. Those who pursue the non thesis track will only take courses and have to take a comprehensive exam. Students can specialize in human nutrition, nutritional biochemistry and metabolism and reproduction. Students will also participate in research activities.
Doctor of Philosophy in Nutritional Sciences
This degree program prepares students to consult, educate and research nutritional sciences in a variety of healthcare settings. Students can specialize in a variety of areas such as nutritional physiology and biochemistry, human nutrition and obesity and diabetes. In addition to completing courses, students will research a topic to develop and defend a dissertation.
