The Graduate School of Education is focused on producing students that seek to improve the educational systems and processes of a diverse and modern global community through numerous Master of Education programs, an Ed.D. and a Ph.D.

Ph.D. in Education

The graduates of the PhD program make a difference in education through leadership in research, teaching practice, and educational policy decisions. Qualified graduate students can study a PhD in one of two specializations, Theory, Organization, and Policy or Learning, Cognition, Instruction, and Development.

Master of Education in Language Education

This program includes 30 credits of study for students studying, bilingual education, English as a Second Language, and foreign language education.

PhD in Counselor Education

Students pursuing the PhD in Counselor Education will complete coursework in the form of core courses, clinical experiences, elective studies, research core, and a doctoral dissertation. Graduates of this program are prepared to influence mental health and quality of life in organizations and educational institutions.

Master of Education in Teacher Leadership

A program for practicing teachers, the M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership focuses on teachers knowing their students as well as the subject matter, a spirit of collaboration, strong ethics, and positive transformation. It requires a two year commitment for a 35 credit program.
