Rowan University's Graduate Finance Program

Founded in 1923 as Glassboro Normal School, this university did not gain its current status until 1997. More than 45 buildings situated over 200 acres constitute RU's campus in Glassboro, New Jersey. The university is divided into seven colleges. The Rohrer College of Business is where you can find your finance degree. 14% of the 10,000 enrolled students are graduate students seeking degrees in all departments of the university.

Master of Business Administration: Specialization in Finance

By specializing in finance, you will be taught career-oriented skills throughout the program. A broad understanding of financial theory, markets, and institutions will be granted to you. Classes you will need to take before applying include Foundations of Accounting, Statistics I, Principles of Marketing, and Principles of Finance. Once you are accepted, you will take 27 credits of required courses and nine credits of specialized courses in finance.

Princeton University's Graduate Finance Program

This Ivy League university was founded in 1746. It moved to its current location in 1756 and was officially named Princeton University in 1896 when it gained university status. The broad spectrum of programs entices students from every walk of life to attend this prestigious institution. A little over 7,000 students are enrolled each year, and an acceptance rate of only 10% keeps the student population down.

Master in Finance

A strong emphasis on financial economics exists within this program. Economic theory, statistics, probability, optimization and computer science are all becoming increasingly more important in the industry of finance. A wide range of careers can be pursued by graduates of the program, including financial engineer and risk manager, quantitative asset manager, macroeconomic and financial forecaster, quantitative trader, and applied researcher.

Montclair State University's Graduate Finance Program

MSU covers a total of 246 acres in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. It was founded in 1908 and eventually gained its current name and status in 1994. More than 300 majors are offered by this university in several schools and colleges. About 17,000 students are enrolled annually. Nearly a quarter of those currently attending are graduate students. The admission rate at MSU is 52%.

Master of Business Administration, Finance Concentration

48 semester hours are required for the completion of this program. Five cores of courses are required, including Managerial Decision Making, the Functional Core, Managing the Business Environment, the Finance Concentration core courses, and Strategy & Leadership Capstone Courses. With the completion of this program, you will be prepared to enter a career as a commercial banker, savings and loan office, or investment banker.
