Students use modern methods of study and research to prepare themselves for the challenges of planning, organizing, and administering public health policy and programs.
Masters of Public Health
The Master in Public Health degree works to prepare students for administrative positions in public health. Students will learn how to plan and organize health education, health services and health policy as well as learn how to conduct original research within the community that may assist in prevention of disease and health promotion. This is a 45 degree credit program which allows students to specialize in Urban and Environmental Health, Quantitative Methods: Biostatistics and Epidemiology, or Health Policy and Administration.

University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Public Health
Spanning multiple campuses, the UMDNJ School of Public Health trains students to become leaders in the public health sector using a combination of collaborative teaching, leading edge research, and service. Upon graduation, students will be fully prepared to meet the challenges of improving the health and wellness of the public.
Master of Public Health
This is a 45 credit hour degree that provides students with the foundational knowledge they need to interact efficiently and competently with likeminded people striving to improve or implement public health efforts. Depending on the campus where they are taking classes, students may concentrate in Dental Public Health, Quantitative Methods: Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Urban Health Administration, Environmental and Occupational Health, Health Education and Behavioral Science, or Health Systems and Policy.

Montclair State University Graduate School presents students with a comprehensive educational program designed to prepare them to achieve their educational and professional goals.
Master of Public Health Community Health Education
Graduates of this program will be prepared, culturally and professionally, to work as public health leaders in a variety of settings including, health departments, private and public agencies, health organization, schools, community health organizations, and health advocacy organizations. With a focus on social justice, the MPH program provides skills for students to be successful through interdisciplinary study and hands on experience.
