University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management
This school is considered to be the premier business school in the state of New Mexico and commonly ranks among the best in the country. Master of Accountancy:
This program is divided into two levels. First, there is a program for students who did not study accounting as undergraduate. This program will teach students the basics of the accounting profession and will ease them into a comprehensive understanding of the key issues and topics in the field. The second level is for students who have already studied accounting and would like to gain a more advanced understanding of the theories and concepts so that they may become leaders in their field. All students begin with a core business education, which includes classes in economics, finance, operations systems, management, business and tax law, and audit and fraud analysis. Students who complete this program also have the option to apply for PhD degree programs.

This school is widely respected for its focus on real world training and practical application. Students in this college work closely with faculty to not only understand some of the most cutting-edge business issues, which involve ethics and technology, but they also get the chance to participate in internships that allow them some real-world training. Master of Accountancy:
This program is for students who already have a background in accounting and would like to further their understanding of current issues in the field. Students begin by exploring advanced business concepts and theories. Students also learn about current information systems, computer software, and computer programs that are relevant to today's accountancy field. Students also learn about personal ethics and the new international market and how these issues affect today's accountant. Students work closely with faculty to prepare for their careers. Students who complete this program may sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam or pursue PhD degrees in Accountancy. Students who complete this program find that they are prepared to take on leadership roles in the industry.
