Master of Counseling and Guidance: School and Bilingual School Counseling:

This program is for qualified graduate students who would like to become school counselors in diverse and vibrant areas where there is much cross-cultural communication in schools. Students may choose their areas of individual interest and research. This will determine the electives they take. Students begin the program with a core education. Students learn about new research methods. They develop a complex understanding of how to gather data, read it, and interpret it in an educational setting. Students also take courses in education and psychology. Students perform internships that give them valuable job experience. Students may also consult faculty members to complete independent projects. Students work under close supervision as they complete master's thesis papers. Students who complete this program become school counselors. They may also be eligible to work as community counselors and educators in areas where there is much cross-cultural and international communication.

PhD in Counseling Psychology:

This is an advanced degree for students who have strong academic and professional background in counseling psychology. This program is heavily research-based. Students enter the program with individual areas of interest already declared.
