University of North Dakota Department of Criminal Justice UND, founded in 1883, is the oldest university in the state, having been established six years before North Dakota became a state. Located in Grand Forks, UND is made up of three large campuses.

PhD in Criminal Justice

The Department of Criminal Justice at UND partners with the Criminal Justice Department at Minot State University to offer a doctoral program in Criminal Justice. The course of study includes criminological theory, research skills, and administrative criminal justice issues at the national and international levels.
