When it comes to studying biology, you are going to find that many of the best biological science graduate programs do more than simply offer an advanced study of biology. More often than not, the top programs will incorporate top research and learning methods with practical application. For this reason, students of biology may also learn about fields and sciences such as chemistry and engineering, which will enhance their biological science education and allow them to become valuable members of their fields of study.

This list is of some of the top graduate biology schools in the country. While there is often much argument concerning which schools are truly the best, most academics would agree that these schools belong somewhere at the top. The list was drawn from U.S. News and World Report studies and surveys and should be a good sample of some of the most competitive and highly regarded schools in the country.
