5 Masters of Education Degrees Online

You can obtain a Master of Education degree as an extension of your bachelor's degree by undertaking a mid-career return to school, as thousands of teachers are doing. The MAT degree provides opportunities in advanced teaching, but the more traditional MEd or Master of Science in Education or Master of Arts in Education offers career tracks in educational management, policy development and administration. There are areas of specialization with this degree that include classroom technology use, curriculum development and any number of management concentrations. The online Master of Education is a particularly attractive choice for working adults who wish to continue teaching or working in the education system while obtaining the advanced degree that will open the door to management opportunities.
