The University of Utah
The university was founded in 1850 and was then known as the University of Deseret, making it the state's oldest institution of higher learning. The school offers over 90 graduate degree studies and over 100 undergraduate programs. It is situated on the east bench of the Salt Lake Valley about 2 miles east of downtown Salt Lake City.
Master of Public Health
The Master of Public Health degree is a professional graduate degree intended to help in preparing practicing professionals in the field of public health. The degree provides students an inclusive understanding of public health, which will aid them in their future career.
Master of Social Work
The program allows students to choose a clinical or direct practice track. Students are presented with studies which will allow a pursuit of social welfare and social change that is founded in a professional and academic discipline.

Brigham Young University
Brigham Young University is located in Provo, Utah, and is a private research school owned by Mormon Church, also known as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is also the country's biggest religious university, and enjoys the third-largest enrollment of any private university in the United States. BYU students are obligated to adhere to an honor code, which mandates deeds be in line with Mormon teachings. That includes being academically honest, observance of dress and grooming standards, abstinence from extramarital and premarital sex and from the consumption of drugs and alcohol.
PhD in Marriage, Family, and Human Development
The program provides Graduate courses in marriage, family, and human development. Special attention is paid to creating strong family communication and aiding in the healthy upbringing of children and adolescents. The objective of the doctoral program is to help students get acquainted with the methods and theories of psychology in their own and other specialties.
Masters in Public Health
Curriculum includes preparation and background in the MPH program. The program also includes applied language experience, prioritization on career goals in public health. The basic reasons for choosing a career in public health are reviewed along with distinguished qualities and talents that would improve success in a public health career. Research interests, and professional interests, should be considered when applying to the Brigham Young University's MPH program. The program is intended for students with a solid commitment to a career involving a social and community activism or one in which a public health degree would enhance occupational efficiency in research, programs, or policy.
